2023 Hot Rod Drag Week - Sept 18--22

The Hot Rod Drag Week 2023 is a NO MISS event for any drag racing enthusiast. Last year we rounded the circuit in the central Mississippi River tracks of the Midwest. This year we’ll be making stops throughout the Southeastern tracks, starting and ending at Darlington Dragway.

Generally, the racing will start each day at 8 am till around 2 pm. Pit areas open around 7:30, but many drivers will get their cars in the pit area as early as possible to get set up. A lot of work to go from street to strip for the serious contenders. When a driver gets a run that they like, they can get the car converted back to highway function and go on to the next city. Each day is about the same, except for the last day where the racing is 10 am till 6 pm with awards to follow. Of course, everything is subject to weather cancellations and delays. (continue reading below)

Same as last year, Direct Performance will be there working the Amsoil booth and providing product to racers and individuals alike. We won’t have a complete inventory, but definitely some of the special needs of those at the track that have need for the best lubricants. Top off or change, we will try to have it available.

Be sure to contact us if there is any specific product you’d like us to have at the track. Stay posted for updates and like our Facebook page. Below you’ll find the schedule for the 2023 Hot Rod Drag Week.
